What you’ll do Program Contents: 1) Host introduction, overview of the program (10 minutes) 2) Lecture on kintsugi techniques, selection of bowl to work on (10 minutes) 3) Kintsugi workshop (100 minutes) The host has a selection of chipped or cracked bowls from which to choose for your kintsugi project. Under the host’s guidance, you will fill the damaged areas then sprinkle with gold or silver powder for a final product that celebrates the beauty of the bowl in all its imperfections. After drying, the host will package your completed bowl to take home.
