Departure from Kathmandu: Start your tour by leaving Kathmandu. The distance between Kathmandu and Nagarkot is approximately 32 km (20 miles), and the journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions. Scenic Drive to Nagarkot: The route from Kathmandu to Nagarkot offers scenic views of the countryside and terraced fields. As you ascend, you'll gradually start to see the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest on clear days. Arrival at Nagarkot: Once you reach Nagarkot, you'll be greeted by the breathtaking views it's famous for. Nagarkot is located at an elevation of about 2,195 meters (7,201 feet) and is renowned for its panoramic views of the Himalayan range, including peaks like Mount Everest, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and more.
