Get ready to discover modern African fashion. Learn about its global impact from the mid-twentieth century to now. The exhibition showcases over 200 works including fashion, textiles, photos, music, and film.

Organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the show is now available in Melbourne with NGV's help. It's the largest display of its kind in an Australian art venue!

You'll see the work of more than 50 designers and artists from 20 different African countries. Some names you might recognize are Kofi Ansah, Chris Seydou, Shade Thomas-Fahm, as well as newcomers like Thebe Magugu, Imane Ayissi, IAMISIGO, and Lisa Folawiyo.
