Highlights

Nag Tibba trek starts from village Pantwari, which is about 96 km or 3 hour drive from Dehradun. Nag Tibba is an all season trek near Mussoorie which has rocky trails, forest walks & great panoramic views of higher peaks like Nanda Devi, Gangotri, Swargarohini, Kedarnath, Chaukhamba & many more. Nag Tibba trek has some of the best camping sites in Uttarakhand. Climbing the Nag Tibba peak (3,022 m), highest peak in lower Garhwal mountain range, is the best part of the Nag Tibba trek.

Dehradun to Pantwari - Trek to Kathian campsite (Trek 5 km approx.)

    - Arrive at Pantwari Reach Pantwari by 10:30 am Breakfast - ( en route or as preferred ) - Start trail at 11 am 12-12:30 pm eat packed lunch on trail ( en route to campsite ) - Arrival at Campsite 1 (Kathian or Nag Tibba base) : 3:30 - 4 pm Evening Tea / Snacks Bonfire Dinner at 8:00 pm
  • Accommodations
    Dome / alpine camping tents (2-3 per tent)

    Dinner - Rice, Chapati, Dal, Sabzi & sweet dish

    - Wake Up time : 5:30 / 6 am Morning Tea/Snacks/Breakfast : 6 am - Start trail to Nag Tibba summit : 6:30 am Reach Nag Tibba summit by 9:30 am - Reach back campsite : 12:30 pm Lunch is served - Start to trail back to Pantwari : 1:30 pm - Reach Pantwari by 4 pm END OF TRIP - Drive back to Dehradun / Mussoorie 4:30 pm - Reach Mussoorie by 6:30 pm or Dehradun by 8:00-8:30 pm *Timings are always tentative in the mountains, depend on the pace & stamina of individual trekkers
