We will enjoy a tour along the Gamboa Lake, where we will admire various animal species in their natural habitat. Then, we will visit the Sloth Sanctuary, a refuge managed by Gamboa Rainforest and the Pan American Conservation Association (APPC). This is not a zoo, but a sanctuary for the rehabilitation of rescued animals, which includes a butterfly house, nursery, and frog observatory. Please note that this part of the tour is not exclusive, so other people from different companies or agencies may be present. Each reservation helps support the conservation efforts of the sanctuary and also supports small local organizations working in the Gatun Lake area.
