With botanicals that abound, perseverance that permeates, and a sense of craft
that rises from the soil wherever you tread, Kangaroo Island is the perfect
place to learn the art of gin blending.
This masterclass has been designed by the distillers at Australia’s first
boutique gin distillery. Your gin education and blending session will be
instructed by an experienced member of the KIS Team and includes a brief
history of gin and the Kangaroo Island Spirits' story. Explore the extensive
range of traditional and native botanical distillates that you can select from
to create your very own 200 ml bottle of gin that you will be able to take
home to enjoy, as well as a 50ml sample so that you can enjoy the fruits of
your labour immediately in a refreshing G&T.

Additional information
CONGRATULATIONS you have selected an exceptional experience. You will create
a blend of gin to suit your pallet that can be recreated and ordered if you
enjoy it and would like to share more. We can negotiate day, date and final
numbers.
The experience will be offered at Kangaroo Island Distillery on Kangaroo
Island which is situated just a short drive from the Kingscote township and
main airport. There is travel to factor in so plan to arrive 15 mins before
your session is due to start.
Once the session has concluded (around 2 hours) please relax in our gin garden
with coffee or cocktails and a self serve platter or ask our friendly staff
for a tasting of our full range including gin, vodka and liqueur.
We love to see visitors enjoy the KIS family experience so your feedback will
be appreciated.
Our venue is undercover but outdoors so please dress to the weather.
