Itinerary

Night 1: Hanoi - Night train to Sapa

  • Orient Express Train Hanoi – Sapa

    A driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30pm and transfer you to the Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai Station. Overnight on the train.

Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B, L, D)

  • Y Linh Ho

    3 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    Arrive in Lao Cai at approximately 5:00am. From the station, your driver will transfer you to Sapa, where you can enjoy breakfast at a hotel. At 9:30am, begin a 12km trek where you will visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H'mong minority. Have lunch with a local family in Lao Cai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank.

  • Ta Van Village

    4 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    Keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where you will stay overnight with a local family. Here, you will have opportunity to experience their daily life, work, and traditions. Overnight: Ta Van Homestay

Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sapa - Lao Cai

  • Giang Ta Chai Village

    10 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    Breakfast will be served at the homestay at about 8:00am before your 9:30am trek. Walk about 8 km to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao and the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge as you move through the bamboo forest. Hop back on the main road and use a jeep to return to Sapa. Enjoy free time before transferring to Lao Cai train station by bus for the night train back to Hanoi. Sleep on train. You arrive in Hanoi in early next morning.
