Arequipa - Chivay - Yanque Horse riding afternoon

  07:45h After hotel pick up, start our journey to the Colca Valley, making stops along the road north in Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve Salinas and Aguada Blanca. We make stops at Tocra Pampa, then Patapampa which has one of the highest spots in the Colca circuit and an ideal viewpoint of the Andes to appreciate a variety of flora and fauna in the area and a panoramic view of the slopes and terraces formed during the geological erosion of the canyon on the road. Arrive in Chivay where you will have lunch (own expenses). Next we go to Hotel - check inn. 15:00h Start the 2 to 3-hours horse ride along the countryside of Yanque village, cross on the bridge to the right side in the valley, then we will appreciate the landscapes with their mountains and many Inca terraces if we look down there is the colca river and along the valley the different picturesque little towns. Later return to the Hotel then on your own you can visit the hot springs (own expense). Overnight at your hotel.

• Uyo Uyo Archaeological Site

  Day 1 afternoon our local tour instructor guide pick you up from the hotel and start the horseriding with some stops seeing inca and preinca terraces. Local people and we are going to ger to this archaeological site called Uyo, Uyo. If, there is access to ride otherwise we can go walking.

• Hot Springs Chacapi

  At the end of the horseriding we can visit the hot Yanque's village hot spring. It is beautiful place to relax in the middle of the nature. The entrance fee is not included it is USD5.
