Before entering the Hawa Mahal, first explore the colorful bazaars around and notice that all shops are painted in pink from outside. Also visit the Flower market and see the local cultivators selling their products. Its outer boundary was built by Raja Jai Singh and other structures by his successors to add charm to it. It also served as a residence for former Maharaja of Jaipur.
