Courtesy pick-up! We set off in a small bus for the Historic Whaling Station
- an 18Km drive. Along the way our Tour Guide Michelle gave us lots of
information about the area we were driving through. The history of the Whaling
Station and tour of the area was gross but very interesting. We also saw the
amazing scrimshaw done by Gary Tonkin on a four metre sperm whale jawbone -
very impressive. Then a nice morning tea before being driven back to the main
part of the city. _ _A very worthwhile tour!
