Tonle Sap Lake is a MUST see as it is one of the most highlight of travel destination in Cambodia. Tonle Sap, the largest freshwater lake in south-east Asia and lifeblood of Cambodia. In the wet season, the Lake swells to 12,000 km² but during the dry season, it shrinks to a fraction of that size. Each year, millions of fish come to spawn in the seasonally flooded forest surrounding the lake, attracting a myriad of water birds. Note: We provide 2 options to choose in advance between boat trip on Tonle Sap through Chong Kneas OR Mechrey Village. Though please note that Chong Kneas is a most popular place with touristy whereas Mechrey is completely less tourist. Both destinations are same as 15 kilometers from town.
