- JR East Ticket Office at Narita Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2·3 is available only when the JR East Travel Service Centers at those stations are closed.
- Ensure the passport name matches the booking name exactly; mismatches cannot be exchanged.
- E-ticket validity: 3 months from purchase.
- Pass validity after exchange: 3 consecutive days from selected start date.
- Starting date must be chosen at exchange and cannot be changed.
- Lost passes cannot be reissued.
- Additional charges apply when travelling outside designated areas or on services not covered by this pass.
- Pass cannot be used on the Tokaido Shinkansen.
- Gran Class, Green Cars, sleeper trains, Fujisan Express, Fujisan View Express, and other premium services require extra fees.
- GALA Yuzawa Station is usable only when the snow resort is open.

Such an easy transaction. Buy the pass from Pelago, pick up at the train station service Centre and you are all ready to go. Will totally do it again because of the discount coupons & extra SQ miles offered by Pelago.
It’s exactly the same ticket when buying at the JR centers, but you get extra discounts/ SQ miles when you buy on Pelago. Got my seat reservations done at the same time.
