Catherine's was built in the 5th century around a 4th-century chapel built on the spot where the Bible says Moses encountered God and spoke to him from a burning bush. The frequently photographed bush at the chapel is said to be a direct descendent of the original. We will pick you up from your hotel in Dahab at 08:00 am for the 2-hour drive to St. Catherine Monastery, located at the foot of Mt. Sinai. Have a look around in this beautiful monastery and see the Burning Bush with your own eyes, Moses Wheel (where Moses met his wife) and the carving of the Golden Calf and the grave of Prophet Haron. You will be back in Dahab around 3 pm..
