Highlights

Start at Tunel Funicular Beyoglu Station, part of one of the world's oldest functioning underground railways. Walk the Beyoglu Cultural Route, known for its history, culture, and art. Get a feel for the local vibe by observing vendors, commuters, and the overall energy of the area.


Next, visit Galata Tower, an iconic Istanbul monument listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List in 2013. Its history dates back to 500 AD. You'll then pass by the Camondo Stairs, a notable art deco-style stairwell. Take pictures before heading to Galata Bridge.


This significant bridge crosses the Golden Horn and has been featured in multiple Turkish cultural works. You'll cross it before taking the tram to Fener. Here, explore Fener and Balat, two of Istanbul’s oldest neighborhoods.


Take in the colorful streets and historic buildings, then wrap up your tour at the spice bazaar, where you can browse its busy aisles.
