  • The cave tour is made up of a 20-minute open train ride through the cave system followed by a one-hour walking tour through the cave. The path through the cave is covered with a non slippery layer so walking is always without stairs or fear of slipping. The whole tour of the cave lasts one and a half hours.



Each Postojna Cave tour is accompanied by tour guides, who provide visitors with tour commentary in Slovenian, Italian, English or German, presenting the cave's splendours in detail. Visitors can also use audio guides available in no fewer than 17 languages (Slovenian, Croatian, English, German, Italian, French, Hungarian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Czech, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese and Korean).

    Enjoy the fantastic underground world of the Postojna Cave created over millions of years, in the kingdom of stalactites and stalagmites, in getting to know a very interesting animal, the human fish that lives in complete darkness. Did you know that the Postojna Cave is one of the largest and most visited caves in the world? After visiting the cave, you will have the chance to visit Predjama caslte - the largest cave castle in the world. Behind the cave lies a labyrinth of hidden corridors, through which the knight Erazmo Predjamski embarked on plundering raids. Legend describes this fearless and almost invincible knight who successfully resisted the siege of the imperial army for over a year. Price for the excursion is 90€ per person+ 31€ entrance to the Postojna cave paid on the spot on the day of trip.
