From July to September, Townsville and its surrounding waters burst with
vibrant wildlife, including majestic humpback whales. Our journey starts
in Townsville, with convenient pick-up options from Magnetic Island. We'll
sail across the pristine Cleveland Bay towards the iconic Cape Cleveland
Lighthouse—a historical marvel guiding ships since the late 1800s.
As we sail, our knowledgeable guides will share captivating insights into the
Cape Cleveland Lighthouse's history and its significance in maritime
navigation.
Prepare to be mesmerized as we explore the waters around Magnetic Island,
renowned for its diverse marine life and breathtaking landscapes. Keep an eye
out for turtles, dolphins, dugongs, and a variety of vibrant bird species.
But the highlight of our tour awaits—the awe-inspiring humpback
whales. Bring your binoculars or zoom lens and witness these curious
creatures in action. Capture their acrobatic breaches, tail slaps, and
graceful dives during their annual migration. Our experienced crew will
provide fascinating insights into whale behavior, ensuring an unforgettable
experience.
Our tour is designed for comfort and personalized experiences, with spacious
water level viewing decks for optimal whale watching. Safety is paramount, and
we adhere to responsible whale watching guidelines.
Enjoy morning or afternoon tea , including a complimentary glass of
juice or wine , onboard refreshments, and the option to purchase soft
drinks. You're also welcome to bring your own alcohol and snacks.
Please note that while our tour success rate has historically been over 90
percent, we do not offer refunds if whales are not sighted. You'll still enjoy
a scenic 4-hour wildlife cruise on the water. Whale sightings are not
guaranteed.
Boarding is available from Townsville or Magnetic Island.
Our tours operate in strict accordance with local regulations to protect the
marine environment. We aim to leave minimal ecological impact while delivering
an unforgettable experience.

Please open attachment for all the information about your Whale

** Townsville passengers ** ** – please meet our boat and crew at
7:45am/12:45pm at the Breakwater Marina** located at the end of
Mariners Drive next to Tobruk Swimming Pool along the Strand. You will
find our vessel at the Fuel Wharf just after the gravel parking lot at the
end of the street.
** Magnetic Island passengers ** ** – please meet our boat and crew at
8:25am/1:25pm at the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal** located on Magnetic
Island. You will find our vessel on the same wharf as where Sealink drops
off their customers. Please wait outside the ferry terminal until our crew
arrives and has secured the vessel.
IMPORTANT: ** We will reconfirm your trip one day prior to departure in
between 4:00 PM and 5:00PM. You will be sent an email and/or text around this
time with the trip status, so please check you phone and email (junk mail
too). If you do not hear from us, please call the number below to check the
trip status. Trips are only confirmed if we have reached minimum passenger
