The WOWPASS card is a versatile prepaid card designed for foreign travelers, offering currency exchange, cashless payments, and public transportation access. As Korea primarily operates as a cashless, card-based society, many stores no longer accept cash. With the WOWPASS card, you can make payments anywhere in Korea, just like a local debit card, and use it as a Tmoney card for subways, buses, and taxis. You can issue and load the WOWPASS card in 16 different currencies at over 90 machines located in major subway stations, hotels, and airports. Leftover KRW balance can also be withdrawn in cash. By linking the card to the WOWPASS mobile app, you can check your balance, track usage history, and access various brand cashback benefits.

Voucher Use
Step 1. Find a WOWPASS Machine
Step 2. Select 'Get a New Card'
Step 3. Choose 'Issue via Code'
Step 4. Select your preferred currency.
Step 5.Scan your passport.
Step 6. Enter the 6-digit voucher code (Membership fee waived) and check 'I agree with the collection/use of personal information'
Step 7. Insert the cash amount to top up
Step 8. Get your card from the machine and insert once to activate it
Step 9. Your card has been issued.
Step 10. Register your card on the mobile app to check the card balance

Only one card can be issued per passport.
The WOWPASS card can only be used at offline stores in Korea.
Transportation balance (Tmoney) cannot be topped up using foreign currency; it can only be recharged with KRW cash at subway machines or convenience stores.
If you need KRW cash, you can withdraw it from WOWPASS machines.
However, machines at ICN airport do not support withdrawals and instead come with a preloaded transit balance of 10,000 KRW.
Maximum foreign currency top-up per day: 2 million KRW
Maximum top-up per week: 10 million KRW
Card balance withdrawal fee: 1,000 KRW
Card reissue fee: 3,000 KRW
