Mikumi national Park, your first stop after a night in Dar es Salaam, is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania and its sheer size leaves a lot to be explored. Ruaha and Selous Game Reserves are possibly the best known wildlife refuges in the southern circuit. Being the largest national park and game reserve in Africa respectively, each hold a potential for excellent game viewing that will be hard to beat elsewhere.
