The Open Water Diver (OWD) course is the perfect starting point for anyone interested in learning to dive. This program is designed to be completed over three days, all while exploring the beautiful waters of Sharm El Sheikh. On the first day, you’ll watch a DVD, learn essential theory, and participate in diving exercises in a pool or shallow water. The next two days are spent on boat trips to Ras Muhammed National Park, with lunch and drinks provided. Alternatively, you can start the OWD course with an introductory shore dive on the first day. You can watch the DVD in the evening at your hotel (bring your laptop) or during the shore dive. The following days will feature more shore dives as you progress through the course, with a maximum depth of 18 meters. You’ll receive the theory book for the OWD course from our Scuba Diving Center in Sharm El Sheikh on your first day. Our Open Water Diving Course lasts for three days, including a total of 4 boat dives.
