Join your host Margarita at her luxury home on a typical residential street of Mexico City’s Tlacopac San Ángel neighborhood. Start your experience in Margarita’s garden, weather permitting, where you will enjoy a welcome drink and appetizers and hear stories of Margarita’s life growing up in the city. Margarita’s husband Gonzalo, an economist, may join you for evening or weekend experiences if he is not working. After your welcome drink and snack, sit down at their family dining table and enjoy a traditional three-course Mexican meal. Your meal will begin with a traditional first course such as corn soup or Mexican tortilla soup, and will be followed with a Mexican main such as chiles rellenos, stuffed chili peppers, or chicken stuffed with cheese and served with salsa verde, all served with traditional Mexican rice. End your meal with a classic dessert such as chocolate mousse with vanilla crème, or crepes with Mexican dulce de leche, served alongside coffee or tea.
