Highlights

Then, walk through the Vasari Corridor, a passageway built by Giorgio Vasari in 1564 for the Medici family. This elevated path connects Palazzo Pitti to Palazzo Vecchio and crosses the Arno River over Ponte Vecchio. Closed for restoration since 2016, the corridor will reopen in 2025, giving you an opportunity to walk through this historic passage.

At the end of the visit, any items left in the cloakroom of the Uffizi Gallery can only be retrieved via an external route outside the museum
