5 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedYou will be picked by your driver/guide at 0800hrs from hotel, ferry or airport and start driving to Selous GR with a short stop in Kibiti town for hot lunch. Driving to Selous will take about 4 to 5 hours. Arrive for boat safari starting from 1630hrs until sunset. Boat safari brings you into close contact with hippo, crocodile and fantastic birdlife. Animals make their way to the river to drink and boat may approach elephant, waterbuck and other on the river banks to within a few meters. 9 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeOur driver guide will pick you up from Dar es Salaam and drive you to the Selous Game Reserve, THIS WILL TAKE 3 or 4 hours with a picnic lunch to be served on the way or at camp. We arrive at the camp in the early afternoon, settle in and set off for evening boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. The river is formed by the confluence of Kilombero and Luwegu rivers. It is about 600 kilometers (370 mi) long and you will see many hippos and crocodiles here. Large herds of elephants in Tanzania are also attracted to the Rufiji River which runs through the reserve. Some 350 species of birds can also be found in the Selous Game Reserve.Rufiji
