This trip includes private hotel pickup and dropoff. Experience the true beauty of Mauritius by kayaking along the majestic Tamarin River, followed by a relaxing early evening on Flic en Flac Beach, watching the sun set over the beautiful Indian Ocean. Start the afternoon with a 2.5h guided kayaking experience on the Tamarin River. The adventure starts where the river meets the ocean, and you will paddle upstream, through lush greenery and abundant wildlife. You may encounter moorhens, ducks, long billed birds, flying foxes and monkeys along the way. There is even the possibility to see dolphins, close Tamarin Bay! Please note that no kayaking experience is necessary, but guests should be at least 12 years old. After the adventure, your driver will take you to Flic en Flac Beach, where you will have the opportunity to swim/relax, and then watch the sun go down over the Island Ocean. The sun sets at approximately 5:30pm (17h30) in the winter and 6:45pm (18h45) in the summer. Your driver will take you back to your hotel shortly after sunset (you're welcome to leave earlier if you prefer).
