- You must exchange your voucher at designated JR Kyushu ticket offices including: Hakata, Kokura, Mojiko, Saga, Nagasaki, Sasebo, Beppu, Oita, Kumamoto, and the Fukuoka Airport International Access Hall.
- Please refer to the official business hours for each ticketing counter.

- The pass must be used on consecutive days (e.g., Jan 1, 2, 3) and cannot be used on non-consecutive dates.
- Seat reservations can be made in advance for a fee (¥1,000–¥1,500) via the Online Booking service.
- The pass is only valid within the JR Kyushu service area; travel outside this area requires additional charges.
- Refer to the Northern Kyushu Area Pass Map for coverage details.
- Unavailability of seats due to full occupancy is not subject to refunds.
- Valid only for non-Japanese citizens visiting Japan as a "Temporary Visitor" for sightseeing.
- Must hold a passport issued by a country other than Japan.
- You must provide proof of "Temporary Visitor" status (stamp/seal in passport) upon exchange.
- The pass can only be used by the rail pass purchaser and is non-transferable.

Great service from the JR staff. The process was simple, swapping and using it on the same day. If purchased with details fill out there is no need for the staff to scan passport and check the credit card. Everything can be done within a couple of minutes.
It is easy to redeem but didn’t have the reservation number so could not do seat reservations online and have to do using the seat reservations using paper tickets at the machine. Plus, Kyushu rail running 10% off promotion if buy from them directly.
