NEVADO CHACHANI 6,075 m 2019

MODALITY: Mountain.

DIFFICULTY: Medium to easy.

DURATION: 02 Days and 01 night.

PROGRAM :
• 1st Day: Arequipa- Pick up participants from their accommodation, by private vehicle, with address of the Chachani Base (5,050 m./3 hours); then the ascent to the New Inca Field (5,170 m./2 hours) begins, where the camp is installed.
• 2nd Day: Field 1- Very early (4 a.m.), beginning of the ascent, in slow motion (between 5 to 6 hours); the Summit (6,075 m.) is reached, where we can see the old crater and the beautiful landscape; the return is made, until the Base Camp (1.30 hours) and transport (1 hour), which will take us to the city of Arequipa (2 ½ hours).

PERSONAL EQUIPMENT: Sleeping bag, comfortable and warm clothing, gloves, hat, hat and sunglasses, mountain boots, backpack to carry your belongings, water bottle (minimum 3 liters), flashlight, canes, and others that do not exceed in volume and weight.
