Highlights

It’s wild and rugged, filled with the sort of wildlife you’ve seen in movies and on TV. The great stretches of Tsavo East’s dusty plain are home to lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, and zebra. These are just a few of the many species of wildlife and birds you’ll be tracking on this 2-day short but fun safari adventure.


This park is big – 11,747 sq. km (4535 sq. mi) – but the foliage is sparse allowing for rich wildlife spotting. And the reserve’s watering holes along the Galana River are a natural draw for big and small game.

Itinerary

Drive to Tsavo East National Park

  • Tsavo National Park East

    We pick you up at your residence or hotel and drive you to Tsavo East National Park We may access the park through various gates depending on where we pick you. Proceed with en route game drive towards your hotel where we arrive in time for lunch followed by a brief rest and later embark on a late afternoon game drive. Watch out for lions, buffalos, zebras, impalas, giraffes and if lucky leopards and cheetahs. Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Tsavo East - Mombasa

  • Tsavo National Park East

    3 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
    We will wake up early for a prebreakfast game drive. This is when most of the wild animals are active. The grazers (Zebras, Impalas, Buffalos) are feeding on soft grass while the predators are keeping an eye hopefully ready to make a kill before the sun gets hot. Return for breakfast followed by check out and embark on a journey back to Mombasa/Diani/Watamu where we arrive later in the afternoon and be dropped at the Airport or hotel. End of Safari.
