introductory Try Scuba Diving course for beginners, an extensive Open Water

— Package Details —

[TRY SCUBA DIVING (Basic)]

• There are 3 different dive skills to complete for the Discover Scuba Diving experience:
  
  Skill 1 – Clearing your regulator
  
  Skill 2 – Finding your regulator
  
  Skill 3 – Clearing your mask

  
  

• Minimum age of participant is 8 years old

  
  
• Itinerary
  
  - Getting brief for basic diving skills and safety policy by the instructor
  
  - Depart to the dive site and start diving around Koh Lipe
  
  - Return to the dive shop for lunch before start the second dive

[OPEN WATER COURSE (2-3 Days Diving)]

• Two dives on the first day (maximum depth of 12 meters) and two dives on the following day (maximum depth of 18 meters)
  
  *You will come back to the dive shop in between dives for a break
• The course can take from 2 – 3 days depending on your schedule and ability
  
  *We strongly recommend 3 full days, offering a thorough course and itineraries can be flexible to suit you

• Itinerary
  
  - There are 6 modules of theory to to complete online prior to the final exam
  with the instructor on spot
  
  - There are 20 new scuba skills practice in a confined water area on Koh Lipe
  
  (Skin diving and scuba skills for at least 2 sessions, allowing you to
  practice)
  
  - Practice over 4 Open Water dives and explore stunning coral reefs in the
  Tarutao Marine Park. You will practice buoyancy, emergency skills, dive
  planning & navigation techniques.
  
  - You will be required to complete a 200-meters swim and 10-minute float as
  part of the water skills and stamina assessment
  
  - You will be certified as an Open Water Diver licensed to a maximum depth of
  18 metres

  
  

• Minimum age of participant is 10 years old

  
  

[TWO FUN DIVE TRIPS (For Certified Divers)]

• A certified diver can join daily dive trips around Lipe (Choices of speedboat or traditional longtail boat)
• You can do between 1 to 4 dives (small group) per day at various dive sites around The Taruatao National Park
• Options of a sunrise and sunset night dive to select, which can be organised daily upon request
  
  *Subject to availability, weather and tidal movement
• Minimum age of participant is 10 years old

• It is required to complete a Diver Medical Check HERE; all of questions must say NO

• Only reef-friendly sunscreen is allowed to apply
• We suggest to take seasickness medication; please inform the instructor immediately if you feel unwell
