Highlights
Budapest is the main city of Hungary, full of historical buildings that will make you travel through history. You will go from Gothic architecture to Neo-renaissance style during this tour. First, you will visit in this Roman city the Heroe’s Square, the Palace of Art, and the Community Center. You will also walk by the wonderful Andrássy Avenue and stop by St Stephen’s Basilica before to see the Parliament Building, Buda Castle, the Chain Bridge, the Fisherman’s Bastion, and finally the famous Matthias Church. Admission Ticket FreeYou will first walk by the Heroes’ Square, a beautiful courtyard which has been the witness of many historical events. Also named Hösök thereby its inhabitants, the square is one of the main centres of Budapest and is composed of wonderful statues. Those statues represent the seven chieftains of the Magyars and similar important Hungarian leaders who marked the country's history. It is a Roman Catholic Church located in the Holy Trinity Square, right in front of the Fisherman’s Bastion. You will enjoy its mystical Gothic style, knowing it was the second largest church of medieval Buda. It was also the location of many historical events like the coronation of several kings, and the “Mary-wonder”.
