This is a hike not for the faint of heart. You will actually be climbing upwards for many parts of this section of the Great Wall. It is high and steep. It is not a hike to be missed! This can be a dangerous part of the wall if not guided around the safest spots to climb which this hike will do! We begin the hike after a walk up through the woods and then we will head up again once we are on the wall. There will be plenty of resting stops. You need a tolerance for heights on this hike and it is not suitable for children under 12 or first time walk hikers. The rocks are stable in most places and in some spots there are ropes for added stability (which most people don't need). We will end the hike at the top of Zhengbei Lou and it's a great view to see how high you came. Then it's downhill from there for a well-deserved local lunch. For this hike you will need good hiking shoes You will get dusty and dirty on this hike. This is an epic hike that you don't want to miss!
