The Maya Q'eqchi people named it “Lachuá”. This beautiful place is also known as the mirror of heaven as its calmness will reflect the sky perfectly and will give a sense of a “never-ending heaven”. In this protected area, 220 species of plants and 210 species of mammals and birds can be watched.
