- Free parking, limited disable parking (displaying of disability parking permit required)
- No pets are allowed into the Gardens, service animals excluded.
- Prohibited Items - Please leave your ride-on toys at home, as no scooters, rollerskates, skateboards, etc are allowed.
- Hunter Valley Gardens do not have wheelchairs available to hire, you are welcome to bring your own.
- Rides associated with seasonal events are an additional charge once within the venue

Night time Xmas lights are exceptional
A bit underwhelming really. If it wasn't for the Japanese garden area, there really wouldn't be that much to look at. The food was okay, but the items in the gift shop really have nothing to do with the gardens. There aren't that many 'take home' reminders available in the gift shop. Only fluffy toys of lions and elephants, all of which have nothing to do with gardens. At $90 for two grandparents and a 2 year old, it was a bit over-priced.
