We will pick you up from your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m., then travel by private transport to the town of Mollepata, passing through the scenic Apurímac Valley. There, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike. From Soraypampa, we begin a 1.5-hour uphill hike to the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, located at 4,200 meters (13,779 feet) above sea level. Along the way, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Andes and the surrounding glaciers. Thanks to our early schedule, we arrive at the lagoon before the main crowds — giving you a peaceful and uncrowded experience of this turquoise natural wonder. After enjoying the lagoon and taking photos, we will begin the descent back to Soraypampa, where we’ll return to Mollepata for a well-deserved lunch. We will arrive back in Cusco around 5:00 p.m., ending this unforgettable day.
