One of the oldest barrios in Buenos Aires, this lively area boasts a vibrant tango and artistic scene. The antiques markets, street lanterns (known locally as faroles), cobbled streets, old-fashioned buildings and original décor give the place its unique bohemian atmosphere. Our tour of the palace will begin in the ‘9 circles of hell’, continue on to ‘purgatory’ and then lead us into ‘paradise’, all the while our professional guides tell the story of the palace and explain the significance of the divine symbols throughout. 6 floors up, we can look out from the best 360° view in Buenos Aires: the top of the old lighthouse in the palace dome. The views from here are utterly unforgettable. After this Dantesque experience, the palace takes us back in time to explore a 1920’s office. Our tour comes to a close at the entrance of the palace after 90 minutes inside.
