Getting there involves a 3½-hour drive from Cusco, and then a 2-hour trek.

Admission Ticket FreeThe hike to Waqrapukara is a new alternative to do something different around the Cusco area. This tour is ideal for those who love to hike and like adventure. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at around 4:30 am. If your hotel is not located in the historic centre of Cusco, you can meet us at the Plaza de Armas and we can pick you up from there.Complejo Arqueologico Waqrapukara
2 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeAfter getting all the group together, we will depart Cusco at around 5:00 am and will head to our first stop, the town of Sangarará. This is the start of our 2 hour walk to the archaeological complex of Waqrapukara. Here, you will have free time to explore this beautiful site and take pictures. During our hike we will be able to see amazing viewpoints and breath-taking landscapes. After exploring the wonders of Waqrapukara at length, we will make our way back to Cusco. We will hike until we reach our private transportation. We will arrive back in Cusco at around 6:00 pm.
