We drive to Itauguá, the city where Ñanduti is made, one of the most characteristic popular expressions in Paraguay. The second stop is the city of Itá, a colonial city founded in 1539 and known as the “capital of ceramics”. We continue towards the city of Yaguarón, the main attraction of which is the Baroque-style Franciscan Church of San Buenaventura, built between 1755 and 1772 by Guaraní natives under the direction of Castro Carlos, member of the Franciscan Order. The next city we will visit is that of Sapucai, where we will visit an impressive museum of railway industry and the famous English mansion where the English engineers from Europe lived in. Finally we visit the city of Pirayu. Here we will make a brief visit to the train station, which was completed in 1864 and was a main route for the transfer of troops and belongings during the “Great War”. 6:00 p.m. Arrival again in Asunción
