Now in its location stands the fort of Qaitbay dating back to 15th century and represents an excellent example of military fortification during the Mamluk era and you will enjoy a panoramic view from the top of the fort.

  We will end our tour by visiting the Modern Alexandria library; the Old library was very famous all over the world for its huge books capacity of different sciences and literature. It was damaged several times during the Greco Roman period. The special shape of the modern library of Alexandria is considered a special architectural germ. New Library was inaugurated in 2002 and it is a must see in Alexandria that you will visit and a have a guided tour inside it.
