Went as two under Tom as the guide. Tour was slow-paced across the two days and there was enough time to appreciate the key sites in Ninh Binh. Cycling as a primary activity of this tour was present throughout and was overall physically intense, especially with the summer weather, so be prepared. Tom (our guide) was effective and amenable to our special requests. Food was quite nice in retrospect, although I would have appreciated having the ability to choose to get what I wanted rather than presented a set of dishes. Price is quite high relative to tours in VN, especially for those with shorter timeframes, but the experience was enjoyable barring the blistering Vietnamese summer and intensity of cycling. Tour would have been perfect if we could take motorised transport everywhere and without the summer heat, but I am sure some people would appreciate the physical element incorporated into this 2D1N tour. My appreciations again to Tom, our guide.
