A rare jewel that is the centerpiece of the region’s cultural life, the District is home to some of the finest architecture in the world. Considered and engineering marvel, the 5.2-acre deck park is built over a recessed eight-lane freeway. Numerous food trucks offer many options for lunch. To continue their tour through Uptown Dallas and West Village Shopping venue, the McKinney Avenue Trolley stops at the eastern edge of the park. There is no fee. The tour guide does not accompany along on this option.
