From the meeting point we will travel by car to the hiking area. The excursion consists of 3 parts, during which we will be hiking to peaks with stunning views and beautiful meadows at 3 different locations. The hiking activity will be 16km long with 300m elevation alltogether. The difficulty of the route is moderate, people without previous hiking experience can complete it, but not recommended for people with injury or serious disability. At the end of the journey we will return by car to the meeting point. The car will be provided for free. We will follow cleared paths and earthroads, no difficult terrain is expected, no heavy hiking equipment is needed. Recommended: proper hiking boots or shoes and outfits for personal comfort and safety / raincoats / drink and food, as there will be no chance to buy any during hiking. Proper protection against deer ticks is the responsibility of the participants, that is highly recommended, as many ticks are infected by lime disease or tick-borne encephalitis in Hungary.
