The impregnable fortress hosts and collects various exhibitions related to its great and important history: from the collection of weapons dating back to the 1500s to those of the First and Second World War; from instruments of torture to the replica of Vasari's fresco depicting the capture of San Leo by the Medici up to exhibitions of contemporary works.

The 1st Sunday of every month is free.The fortress of San Leo will remain open at the following times : October : from Monday to Friday from 10.30am to 5.45pm (last entry at 5.00pm). Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10.30am to 6.45pm (last entry at 6.00pm)
November : from Monday to Friday from 10.30am to 5pm (last entry at 4.15pm). Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10am to 5.45pm (last entry at 5.00pm). Closed on Tuesdays
