Sovereign Hill
In the morning, journey to Sovereign Hill, a recreation of the 19th-century
gold rush era. During this brief but enriching historical experience, you'll
have the opportunity to visit the old gold mining village, pan for gold
yourself, and explore the local Gold Museum. Despite the tight schedule,
you'll still be able to feel the determination and lifestyle of the gold
diggers of that time and witness this pivotal moment that changed Australia's
history.
Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road
In the afternoon, drive along the world-renowned Great Ocean Road, taking in
the beautiful pastoral scenery. As you pass by majestic sea cliffs and ancient
rainforests, you'll ultimately arrive at the spectacular Twelve Apostles.
Despite the limited time, we will arrange the most essential viewing
experience for you, allowing you to witness these awe-inspiring rock
formations standing resilient against the crashing waves. Whether under the
blue sky and white clouds or in the glow of the setting sun, these natural
wonders will offer you an unforgettable visual feast.

Itinerary
07:30: Depart from Box Hill (906 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill VIC 3131) (waiting for 10 minutes)
08:10: Depart from Chinatown, Melbourne. (108 Little Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000)
10:00: Arrive at Sovereign Hill (3-hour visit time) After a pleasant drive, we will reach the historic Sovereign Hill, rich with the atmosphere of the 19th-century gold rush. You will have 3 hours to explore the old gold mining town (entrance fee not included) and can also opt to ride the mine train to visit the underground mines (additional fee).
13:00: Depart from Sovereign Hill After exploring Sovereign Hill, we will proceed to our next destination, starting our journey to the spectacular natural attractions.
14:40: Arrive in Colac (20-minute stop) During the drive, we will make a brief 20-minute stop in the town of Colac. This break will allow everyone to relax, have a light snack, or stretch their legs.
15:40: Arrive at the Twelve Apostles (2-hour visit time) In the afternoon, we will reach the stunning Twelve Apostles. You will have 2 hours to admire these majestic limestone pillars, take photos, and enjoy the breathtaking coastal views.
17:40: Depart from the Twelve Apostles After taking in the magnificent scenery of the Twelve Apostles, we will begin our return journey to Melbourne.
18:40: Arrive in Colac (20-minute stop) We will stop in Colac again for a short break on the way back.
19:00: Depart from Colac After the break, we will continue driving back to the city.
21:00: Arrive at the city center / Box Hill meeting point Return to Melbourne city center and Box Hill, where you will disembark at the meeting point, concluding a perfect day filled with history and natural wonders.
