Get off the beaten track and up close to nature, history and land of Teran wine


Be amazed by the thousands of magical glowworms above as you gently walk through the world famous Skocjan Caves. Take a chance to see at first hand (literally speaking) the terroir of this wine growing region from "INSIDE OUT" and meet the soil from bellow to get to know this unique terroir intimately.


But the Caves, Karst & Wine Trail was also born to give travelers the opportunity to enjoy the greater Wine area of Slovenia called “Primorska” with a selection of special wineries and typical food.
A small group full day wine tour guided by one of our wine experts.


We visit an old winery cellar, followed by visit to Skocjan caves and then have lunch and visit a typical Karst winery. Tasting of white & red wines. The tour also includes a visit to an early 15th century medieval village.

    THE UNESCO PROTECTED CAVES - After the winery visit, our next stop will be at Skocjan caves. The UNESCO protected and the largest known underground canyon in the world.

    KARST WINERY VISIT - Last, but certainly not least, we'll stop in an old Karst winery to learn about wines that are produced by the cellar and characteristics of the Karst climate and soil.
