What a wonderful and personal experience. I learned how to be mindful while carving different vegetables. Khun Waan was patient, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. I went into this as a relationship building activity— something to do with your close friends and family for a cherished memory in the future, and the shared experience was lovely. I had no knowledge of vegetable carving except for having seen them at upscale Thai restaurants. I learned different designs using different vegetables. Lunch was delicious and meticulously made. Reminded me of home made food with close family.
