Our Private 1.5 hour Jesuit Tour will let you discover the outstanding treasures of the " Church of the Gesù" the mother church of the Society of Jesus founded by Saint Ignatius of Loyola. You will not miss St. Ignatius' tomb beautifully decorated by Andrea Pozzo.


The tour will include also the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola located in Campus and its wonderful vault and dome painted by Andrea Pozzo: two amazing optical illusions!

    You will visit St. Ignatius Church with its incredible optical illusions created by the Jesuit Artist Andrea Pozzo. That the only church in Rome with a fake 3D-vault just painted on the ceiling.

  • Chiesa del Santissimo Nome di Gesu all’Argentina

    After St. Ignatius you will take a stroll - less than 10 minutes walking - to the mother church of the Jesuit Society: the Chiesa del Gesù. Consacrated in 1584 became a model of church to be exported all over the world. Inside you will enjoy the beauty of this late Baroque church and its frescoes painted by the great artists of that time. You will also see the impressive tomb of Saint Ignatius of Loyola.
