2026 Shirakawago Light Up 2 Days Tour from Nagoya
Shirakawa-go Light-up will be held again in 2026! Why don't you visit the World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go in its wonderful appearance, only during the winter season? This year, tours with observatory tickets are also available!


Shirakawago Light Up 2026
Shirakawago holds an annual winter-only light-up event. Strolling through the village of gassho-style buildings (unique-to-Shirakawago buildings), covered with snow and lit by warm light, you must feel like you are in another world.

Snow Playing
Snow slider
Play on several types of sleds on natural slopes. Depending on the sled you choose and the slope, you can enjoy relaxing or thrilling sledding!
Snow shoe trekking
The facility staff will give you a detailed lecture on how to use snowshoes and poles, so even first-timers can enjoy the exhilaration of walking on the snow and running down the slopes.

Takayama Old Town
You have a free-time to stroll around the Old Town. Because you visit there in the morning, you can go to the morning market, where you can enjoy the local atmosphere with fresh vegetables and Takayama crafts. Also, seven sake breweries are clustered there. Some breweries offer sake tasting, while others sell sweets and beauty products made from sake. Check it out!


Strawberry Picking
The tour concludes with strawberry picking! Please enjoy as many delicious Japanese strawberries as you like.
