If you’re interested in exploring the ancient history of the Sinai or you have always wanted to spend the night in the desert, this is the trip for you. We have designed this trip to let you enjoy some of the hidden gems of this part of the Sinai, while watching your budget. This trip can be done from Cairo or Dahab.

Serabit el-Khadim Mountain
Admission Ticket IncludedDay 1: We leave at 2 am, to take a car to Abu Zeneima. We will arrive there around 7 am, to take our desert car to Serabit el Khadim, here we have our breakfast, then we visit Wadi Nasb, to see 19th Dynasty ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics from the time of the pharaoh Merenptah. After Wadi Nasb, we continue to Wadi Baaba, to have lunch in the desert. Then we drive to Wadi Kharig, an important Bronze Age site that was used for copper and turquoise mining. there, we find some of the best-preserved hieroglyphics, for King Sahure of the 5th dynasty. We then go back to our desert camp, to have dinner and enjoy the night around the fire. Admission Ticket IncludedDay 2: After breakfast we start our climb up to the Temple of Hathor. The climb up to the plateau will take about one hour. If you don’t feel up to doing this hike, you can spend your time in the camp. We will see the remains of the temple of Hathor and a few of the turquoise mines, one of which has the oldest alphabet writing in the world, the Protosinaitic inscriptions. Then hike down the mountain, through Rod el Air, to meet our car to take us back to the camp, where we have lunch. After lunch, we drive back to Abu Zeneima, where we take the bus back- Food And DrinksBreakfast - Lunch and dinner
