Highlights

The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall expresses the Chinese people's deep affection and remembrance for the great leader. On the east side of the square is the National Museum of Chinese History, and on the north side is the Tian'anmen Rostrum which was first built 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. After visiting the exterior of Tian'anmen Square, you will start to enjoy a meal of the most famous local dish in Beijing - Beijing Roast Duck.
