Today you will experience a full-day private guided excursion through the Sacred Valley. This excursion combines Inca ruins with a typical Andean village, a colonial church, wonderful mountain scenery and a colorful traditional market. First, you will visit the weaving community of Kuper Bajo, where you will be shown the entire process of Inca weaving, with ancestral techniques that are maintained from generation to generation. After this enriching experience we will hike for 1 hour near the town of Chinchero, en route you will be surrounded by beautiful views of the Piuray Lagoon, the Sacred Valley and the snow-capped peak of Salkantay that dominates the western horizon. We continue visiting the ruins of Chinchero and Moray, huge circular agricultural terraces in Moray built by the Incas in natural sinkholes in a limestone plateau overlooking the Urubamba Valley.
