Lake Shoshone is the largest backcountry lake in the lower 48 states only accessible by foot or kayak. If you are looking for a great, relaxing hike without much hiking elevation, great open meadows mixed with forest and a beautiful lake to eat an amazing lunch by, then this is a great choice.
