Highlights

Travel along the Northwest coast of Tasmania to the beautiful city of Devonport. Tasmania's third largest city. We will visit the Bass Strait Maritime Museum, Mersey Bluff Lighthouse. We will then travel a short distance to the beautiful town of Latrobe, visiting the House of Anvers Chocolates. We will travel back to Burnie via the seaside town of Penguin.


Please note that timing for the tour will be adjusted for cruise ship passengers with the times their ship is in the Port of Burnie.

Itinerary

  • Bass Strait Maritime Centre

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    Experience the history of Bass Strait. Attempt to dock a ship in the Mersey River via a state-of-the-art simulator. Here you may enjoy some morning tea.

  • House of Anvers Museum of Chocolate

    Enjoy a beautiful hot beverage. Taste some of the in-house made chocolates or learn the history of chocolate.

  • Mersey Bluff Lighthouse

    Spectacular views over the entrance to the Mersey River, the home to the Spirit of Tasmania Ferries.

  • Penguin

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
    Take your picture with Penguins famous Big Penguin. Visit the tourist information Centre for some lovely souvenirs. Enjoy an afternoon beverage at this beautiful seaside town.
